Twitter on Friday said it “stands arranged” to work with the Parliamentary Standing Committee on IT on defending residents’ privileges on the web, even as the board completely told the microblogging stage that standard of the land is incomparable and not the organization’s approaches. Twitter India’s public strategy administrator Shagufta Kamran and lawful advice Ayushi Kapoor removed before the Parliamentary board on Friday, in the midst of a continuous tussle between the Union government and the organization over the enhanced IT rules.
The spokesperson added that the company will also continue working alongside the Indian government as part of its shared commitment to serve and protect the public conversation.
According to sources, members of the Parliamentary panel also asked Twitter why it should not be fined as it has been found “violating” rules of the country.
